Types of Tube Sockets

What is a Tube Socket?

Tube sockets are also called long, extra-long, deep or extra deep sockets. They are used for special applications where a deep reaching socket is required or to accommodate long threads into the body of the socket.

Tube sockets come in most drive sizes - ½", ¾", 1" and 1½". They come in different lengths - 250mm to 300mm depending on the drive size. They are available in metric or imperial in select drive sizes.

Tube sockets are impact rated and manufactured from a single piece of high-quality chrome-molybdenum (CrMo) steel that is forged in to shape to maximise safety, strength and durability.
